Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to an examination on 27th September 2015 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 136th Course, and for the 98th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02 July 2016.

The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech Course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.

The date of holding the examination as mentioned above is liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission.

Total vacancies: 375

National Defence : 320 [208 for Academy Army, 42 for Navy and 70 Air Force].
Education qualification:12th Class pass of the 10+2pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Naval Academy [10+2] Cadet Entry Scheme : 55 .
Education qualification: 12th Class pass of the10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :
Only unmarried
Only unmarried male candidates born between 2-1-1997 and 1-1-2000 are eligible.
